Ukraine’s military said they have destroyed a Russian military landing ship called Orsk in the port city of Berdyansk. There are videos that show explosions and smoke at a dock. It is possible that two other Russian ships were damaged.
The city has been occupied by Russian forces ever since the fourth day of the Russian invasion. Russian media celebrated the Orsk’s docking with videos that showed Russian military vehicles being lifted off the ship.

U.S. will accept up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees
The U.S. government said it will accept up to 100,000 refugees from Ukraine and others who are escaping Russia’s invasion. The U.S. has not opened its country to refugees like Europe has, with only seven Ukrainian refugees being resettled in the U.S. in the first two weeks of March.
Axios explained that it can take years for refugees to go through the process of resettlement, but the U.S. is working on ways to make the process faster. The U.S. already has a backlog of tens of thousands of Afghan refugees fleeing the Taliban takeover, even after already accepting 80,000 Afghan refugees.
