On Saturday at the Las Vegas international airport, a man was filmed walking on a wing of an Alaska Airlines flight. The plane was preparing to take off to Portland when the pilot reported that a man was on the tarmac and coming towards the plane. The man hopped a fence. Videos showed the man walking on the wing and lying down as police officers swarmed in response. He then removed his shoes and tried to climb the end of a plane wing, called a winglet. Three police officers are seen in the video walking on the wing towards the man. The man fell down from the winglet and landed hard on the floor, where he was detained. The plane returned to a gate for inspection before it departed after a four-hour delay.
