Keivonn Montreal Woodard gets Emmy nomination

Keivonn Montreal Woodard, the 10-year-old Deaf actor who had an impactful role on an episode of HBO’s “The Last of Us,” was nominated for an Emmy award in the “Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series” category.

The Hollywood Reporter said he is the youngest ever to be honored in the category.

The Emmy Awards will take place on Monday, September 18 at 8 pm ET.

Marlee Matlin tweeted a congratulatory message to Keivonn and said, “As the youngest Best Actress winner myself for an Oscar, my hands are waving in the air for you!”
