Coast Guard update on missing submersible
The U.S. Coast Guard said there is a massive search operation to find a missing submersible with five people on it that went missing on Sunday as it was deep in the Atlantic Ocean to view the wreckage of the Titanic.
The Coast Guard said this afternoon that the submersible may have about 40 hours of breathable air left and that the more time passes, the less hope there is of finding the five alive. Searchers are trying to use sonars to pinpoint where the vessel is underwater and doing aerial searches as well.
Aboard the submersible are the founder of the company that operates the tour, a French diver, a British billionaire, and a Pakistani father and son. It costs about $250,000 for the tour.
Paris Olympics offices raided
Police in France raided the offices of those who are organizing the Paris 2024 Olympics as a part of investigations into potential financial misconduct.

The committee, named COJOP for short, said it is cooperating with the investigation.
The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics is scheduled to begin on July 26, 2024 and end August 11, 2024.

Trump classified docs trial scheduled for Aug 14
The trial for Donald Trump’s classified documents charges is scheduled to begin on August 14, but Axios said Trump and his legal team are expected to file multiple motions and challenges to delay the trial. Trump is facing 37 charges relating to retaining classified information and obstruction of justice.
Trump said in a Fox News interview on Monday that the reason why he didn’t hand over classified documents when the National Archives and Records Administration requested them after the end of his term is because he wanted to go through all the boxes and get all of his personal things out. He said he was very busy.
