President Biden said he still wants to send out $1,400 stimulus checks as a part of the next coronavirus relief package, but he is willing to compromise with Republicans’ requests that the checks be sent out to a smaller pool of people based on lower income thresholds. Biden said he is not willing to reduce the stimulus package from $2 trillion to $618 billion, which is what Republicans want.
Politico reported that the House and Senate plans to use the budget reconciliation process to pass the package without Republican support. Biden said he has to act quickly and can’t afford to have a long, drawn-out process with negotiating.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) is pushing for Biden to include a $15 minimum wage increase in the next stimulus package and has requested the Congressional Budget Office to develop a report on the projected impact on the economy.
The House of Representatives will vote tomorrow on whether they want to remove two committee seats that belong to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). NBC News reported that Republican leaders in the House tried to get Greene to voluntarily depart her seat on the Education committee or apologize for saying in the past that House Speaker Pelosi should be killed for treason or for falsely saying that the Sandy Hook or Parkland school shootings were staged. Greene has not backed down, saying former President Donald Trump supports her 100%.

White House Press Sec. Psaki is being criticized by Republican lawmakers for mocking the Space Force, which is a new branch of the military that was formed under the Trump Administration.
Today Psaki said the Biden Administration fully supports the Space Force. The Chief of Space Operations, Gen. Jay Raymond, said he would be happy to talk about the Space Force’s mission.
Last night MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell became angry at a Newsmax anchor because he was interrupted when he tried to make allegations of election fraud. Here are clips.
Newsmax said they accept the election results as legal and final, and that the courts have supported the view.
Lindell is suspended from Twitter for making false allegations about election fraud and Dominion Voting Systems has warned they would sue him, but Lindell said he has 100 percent evidence that he would show on Friday.
Dominion has already sued Newsmax several weeks ago, and the channel released a news segment correcting its previous reports about election fraud.
