Here is a comment from Hall on what this win means to him.

Kevin Hall: What does this win mean to me? I’m 42 years old. I don’t know how many opportunities I will have left. We all work hard to put ourselves in that situation where we feel the pressure. We still have to perform under pressure. Last week I had that feeling. As time drew closer, it got really windy. My heart was beating hard. I made it through! I achieved victory. It’s special because my parents were there to give support, and I performed like that in front of them. It gives me the confidence to know I’m on the right path for 2025. There will be a lot of big tournaments and also at the end of next year, I will be competing in the Deaflympics in Japan. I’m really excited about that. So, I can’t wait!
