NFL star uses ASL to trash talk
DK Metcalf, an NFL star receiver with the Seattle Seahawks, said he used ASL to trash-talk an opponent after he scored a touchdown in a game against the LA Rams. He said he recently started taking ASL classes so he could talk trash without getting flagged. Here is a clip and you’ll see Metcalf signing, “44 is my son” as a taunt.

That’s funny and clever. I suppose referees will now have to learn ASL to spot any future taunts.
That’s the two Deaf News briefs for today.
