Biden says Russia using hypersonic missiles
President Biden said on Monday that Russia is using hypersonic missiles against Ukraine. This kind of missile can travel at over five times the speed of sound, or at least 3,800 mph. The Russian government said it’s used this missile twice against targets in Ukraine. There are concerns because the missiles are able to evade air defenses due to its speed and maneuverability. Biden said the missiles are “almost impossible to stop” and that Putin is using it because his back is against the wall. Several military experts said Putin is trying to let the world know that they have the technology and will use it.
