Sundance online tickets go on sale Jan. 16
The 2025 Sundance Film Festival’s website will start selling online tickets to watch individual screenings on January 16 at 10 a.m. MT / 12 p.m. EST.
This year’s Sundance festival will see the premiere of two Deaf-centered documentaries: “Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore” and “Deaf President Now!”
The Matlin documentary has its in-person premiere on Jan. 23 and will be available to watch online on Jan. 30.
The DPN documentary premieres in-person on Jan. 28 and is also available to watch online on Jan. 30.
The price for a single film ticket online is $35 for each online screening. Sundance said online tickets have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you should make your ticket selections early.
Keep in mind that Apple TV+ bought the DPN documentary and it’ll likely be available to watch on Apple TV after the festival.
The Matlin documentary was produced by PBS’ “American Masters” and will also likely be available to watch later on PBS channels.
But if you want an early opportunity to watch either film, you’ll need an online screening ticket. I’ve put the link in the description and transcript.
