Kellyanne Conway in Middle of Boss-Husband Feud

Here are two political news briefs. 

The first — White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is in the middle of online attacks between President Trump and her husband, George Conway. 

George on Monday tweeted a suggestion that Trump had mental disorders — narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder. He posted images from the DSM-5 book that is used by mental health specialists. 

President Trump responded on Twitter that George was very jealous of his wife’s success and that he was a stone cold LOSER and husband from hell. 

Kellyanne told Politico that Trump should be allowed to respond, to do a counterpunch. She also said that George was “play[ing] psychiatrist.” 

The second news — Beto O’Rourke raised $6.1 million in his first 24 hours as a presidential candidate from 128,000 unique contributors. This is comparable with Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt)’s first 24 hours — he received $5.9 million from 225,000 donors.

The first Democratic party debates will be in June. Rules state that a candidate must receive 65,000 unique donors in order to qualify. There might be about 20 candidates who may be divided in different groups for several nights of debates.
