Father of Georgia school shooting suspect arrested
The father of the Apalachee High School shooting suspect that allegedly killed two students and two teachers was arrested on murder and manslaughter charges. Georgia law enforcement said the father, Colin Gray, "knowingly allowed" his son to have a weapon after giving him an AR-15 type rifle as a holiday present in December 2023. This is the second instance in recent memory of a parent potentially being held responsible for their child in a school shooting with the other case in Michigan when the parents of a high school shooter were charged and later sentenced to 10 years in prison after a gun they gave as a gift was used in the shooting that killed four teenagers. So it is a problem here in America with easy access to guns and parents giving guns to their kids as a gift, and the guns end up being used in school shootings.

Walz family members express support for Trump
There is a viral post of several members of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's family expressing support for Donald Trump instead of supporting him as the vice presidential candidate with Kamala Harris. Most of the family members are second cousins. Walz has a brother who says they have been estranged for years and is opposed to him politically -- but he's not in the picture. USAToday pointed out that it is common to see family feuds with politics with the other cases being Trump's niece Mary criticizing him or the rift in the Kennedy family with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Hunter Biden pleads guilty to tax charges
Hunter Biden, the president’s son, pleaded guilty to all of his federal tax charges and he will face sentencing on December 16. Biden failed to pay $1.4 million in taxes from 2016 to 2019. Hunter said he was struggling with addiction at the time and did not want to put his family through another trial. Hunter is facing prison time and this is his second criminal case with the first being his conviction on three federal gun charges for lying about using drugs when he bought a handgun. President Biden said he would not pardon him and has stayed out of interfering in the case.

Famed election predictor thinks Kamala wins
This is interesting -- a famed election predictor named Allan Lichtman, who has correctly predicted the winners of 9 out of the last 10 presidential elections, predicted that Kamala Harris will defeat Donald Trump. In 2016, Lichtman correctly predicted that Trump would beat Hillary Clinton and in 2020, he correctly predicted that Joe Biden would defeat Trump. How does he do his predictions? He has a list of true-false questions, such as whether the current economy is good, if there is sustained social unrest, or if the current White House has a scandal. Lichtman said regardless of his prediction, the outcome of who wins is up to you, so get out and vote.
