Dr. IV Mirus receives Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.

DR. IV MIRUS:

Hello! I’m Dr. IV again. I hope you all are doing good. I’m going to get the Pfizer vaccine. This is the first of two. Three weeks later I’ll have another appointment to get the second one. Come and see what happens!

It’s never too late to get vaccinated. It’s really important to not get vaccinated when you are sick with either a fever or a cough, or if you’re generally not feeling well. That means you shouldn’t get a vaccine at that moment. But if you are feeling good and healthy and normal, it is a good time to get a vaccine.

If you were previously infected with Covid-19 and recovered fully, you still should get a vaccine. It is a good idea to get protection for the future.

We do not know if the vaccine will prevent transmission of the virus. That has not been studied yet. But we know that vaccines help with greatly reducing symptoms so you don’t get severely ill.

So, I’ve got the vaccine. It’s not that bad. There’s no soreness. We’ll see what happens next. It’s history in the making!
