Deaf woman in Bachelor in Paradise: recap
Bachelor fans will remember Abigail Heringer (26) from Oregon. She was the first deaf contestant on the Bachelor Matt James’ season.

As part of the show, Matt eliminated Abigail and a lot of people outpoured their support for her. The Daily Moth reached out to her for an interview.

For Season 7 for Bachelor in Paradise (BIP), Abigail is one of the contestants. This is a short recap of last week and last night about Abigail and her progress.
Abigail was the first to arrive at paradise. She met with the host of BIP, David Spade. After the both of them exchanged a conversation, David mentioned that he understood why everyone liked her as she was a sweetheart.
Abigail walked down to the beach as there was no one else there because she was the first to arrive. Abigail said that she was looking forward to proving the men that she is not a fragile person with a hearing loss, but an adult who is trying to find her partner. After that she screamed paradise.

As more people arrived, Abigail mentioned that there were hot men, but yet to have a connection or a spark with one of them.
Later on, a man named Noah appears and chats with David. Before he came down to the beach, David asks him who he hopes to see- Noah responds that he hopes to see Abigail because he is a nurse and he did clinical studies with deaf children. He said for Abigail who does not see her deafness as a “disability” is a powerful thing for a person to say.
Noah came down and immediately connected with Abigail. The both of them went to chat. When Noah took Abigail to chat, other people who were there commented and cheered that these two would be good together.
First date card arrived and it went to Abigail. She chose Noah to go on the date with her. During their date together, there were pinatas that surrounded them. After chatting together, they started to hit the pinatas and shared their first kiss there.

That’s the recap of what happened so far (last Monday night and last night). BIP will have another episode tonight (Tuesday). We included a link in this transcript for the schedule because it is a little bit of an odd schedule. Last week it was just Monday, but this week is Monday and Tuesday.
