Deaf teenager missing in Seattle area

A 17-year-old male named Jason W. Curry has been reported missing by his family. They have put out a bulletin seeking the public’s help to find him. The family said he left his home in Des Moines, Washington on July 19 without saying where he was going.

Des Moines is about 15 miles south of downtown Seattle.

The family said Curry has left home in the past, but never for this long and are concerned because he takes medication for schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety.

Curry is 5’8 tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. His family said he has a mohawk hairstyle and was last seen wearing “cut-up” black jeans. The family said he has in the past gone to Seattle and used its public transit, and that he currently does not have a cell phone or any money or debit cards with him.

I've reached out to the Des Moines Police Department to confirm if Jason Curry is listed as a missing person, and they confirmed it.
