It is performed in International Sign and will be live-streamed for each performance. The story is about addressing domestic violence that leads to a confidential conversation, and what it’s like to live in a destructive relationship.
The play itself is about 40 to 45 minutes. The script was written by a Deaf person named Mia Modig and directed by the Deaf artistic director for Riksteatern Crea, Mindy Drapsa. It started yesterday, January 17th and will continue until this Sunday, January 21st.

Renca: You can look online for the available times offered for this online play. We contacted Mindy for her comments and we asked what she hopes the viewers will understand from this play, she responded:
[FULL-SCREEN TEXT:
Topics surrounding women and violence have been going on for many years, and still exist today. It shows that it is a difficult subject and I understand that we do not change overnight. But with You Too, we have incorporated deaf culture and a culture of silence that I hope can make an impact on the audience and make them take more responsibility for their surroundings. It can also focus on perpetrators instead of victims, the deaf community is small. We must remember that always a single form of violence is absolutely not ok! - Mindy Drapsa, Director]
Renca: I personally have watched this and it has an impactful message. We will include a link to their website for you to purchase tickets. It costs 14 Euros per ticket, which is about $15 in US dollars. The money is to support Riksteatern Crea and two other partnered organizations.
