A news report from Rising Sun Newspapers said the students are protesting the “alleged poor quality of food they are provided, unhygienic toilets and unmaintained dormitories as well as the lack of sporting activities.”
A news image showed that some of the placards held by students said the principal did not support them.
The deputy principal of the school said in a statement that they have talked with the children and resolved the issues — to increase the meal portions and to repair a toilet.
The news report said the school has 260 students with 100 of them living onsite. The news report is linked in the transcript if you want to read it.
