CSDR in championship rematch; Gallaudet vs DVU in NCAA football playoffs

Here are two Deaf News briefs.

The California School for the Deaf, Riverside will be in the CIF Southern Section championship game for the second year in a row and they will be playing against the same school that defeated them during last year’s championship game, Faith Baptist Academy.

CSDR Athletics’ Facebook page said it was “The game that we all wanted… Many of us wanted a rematch… at last, we got the game.” Coaches on the football team, during remarks after their semi-final victory, said they had “unfinished business.”

The game will take place this Friday evening at 7 pm PST in Van Nuys. Good luck to the Cubs!
